    Hmmm, I wonder what their breakfasts are like? Before I left Portland 15 years ago the Mallory was my favorite place for breakfast.
    By the way, the hotel is in southwest not northwest but certainly a short walk to that district.

    It takes a lot to get 5 stars as a hotel. I’d give the Hotel deLuxe at least 2 more if I could. Let’s start with the ambiance – the theme is old Hollywood, which is just cool. As you enter the hotel through etched glass doors, you are immediately ushered back to the age of Carey Grant, Clark Gable, Audrey Hepburn, and Marilyn Monroe. The pictures, the decor, even the lighting take you back to another era.
