Um, when are we going? Sounds like my kind of place too. Love that message on your door. How sweet is that?

I just got back from a 2 night stay at the Old Wheeler Hotel. It was magical. Everything about our stay and our trip was perfect. Katie is the ultimate hostess of the manor. And yes, the bed was incredible as was the jacuzzi tub. We had a great soak after a long day of hiking. It's so beautiful there…I can't wait to go back!

Isn't it wonderful, Debbie? Katie is one of the best innkeepers I've encountered. Love the personal touches like popcorn to go with the movies! And love the eco dispensers of luxury bath products.

It may not be health conscious, but I found the tastiest fried oysters in Manzanita! And delicious pie too!

I’m itching to do a northwest US coast road trip. Love discovering little finds like the Rising Star Cafe. Good midday read! Thanks!
